Contact
Ring us. The call is answered at any hour
No voicemail, no queue, no callback form. Crews are working at those hours too, so an overnight or early-morning job is a booking rather than a special arrangement. If it is easier to type, send the details instead and we will come back to you.
Hours
When we answer, and when we work
Two different things, and most removals sites only tell you the first.
The phone is answered at any hour
Including nights, weekends and bank holidays. Moves do not keep office hours — completions slip, keys turn up late, and things go wrong at eleven at night.
Crews work through the night too
A night load, an early-morning start or a Sunday collection is a booking we take in the ordinary way, not a special arrangement with a surcharge attached.
Email is read through the day
Best for photographs of the awkward bits, or anything with a floor plan. If it is urgent, ring rather than email.
Coverage
Every London postcode, north to south
Each region page lists its postcodes and boroughs, and the access problems we plan for there.
- Central LondonEC, WCSee the area page
- North LondonN, NW, ENSee the area page
- East LondonE, IG, RMSee the area page
- South LondonSE, SW, BR, CR, SM, KT, DA, TN16See the area page
- West LondonW, HA, UB, TWSee the area page
If your postcode is not on that list, say so anyway. We will tell you straight away whether we can help, rather than leave you waiting on a quote that is never coming.
If something goes wrong
Tell us directly, and quickly
Ring, or email bookings@metrocitymoves.co.uk. We would far rather fix something on the day than read about it a week later.
If it is not resolved that way, the complaints procedure sets out each stage, how long it takes, and the statutory rights that sit alongside it.
Rather have a price?
A few details and we will come back to arrange the survey. Two minutes. We do not price a London move without seeing it — the floor, the lift and where the van can park change the number more than the number of bedrooms does.
